Playa Arco
On the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica, lies Playa Arco beach. Playa Arco, is definitely worth a visit if in the Dominical/Uvita area. The lush jungle backdrop and rich turquoise waters hitting the jagged rocks makes for dramatic beauty!
The awesome cave walkthrough is on the far west end of the beach. Arco beach is located in Uvita, Costa Rica. It’s apart of Marino Ballena National Park. There is a small entrance fee of $6.
Tortuga Island
Tortuga is a top destination in Costa Rica located only an hour and a half boat ride from shore of the Nicoya Peninsula. Tortuga is ideal for day trips. The Turtle Island has a perfect sandy beach with palm trees and clear waters. You can relax at the beach, hike, and there’s scuba diving. Tours can be arranged from Puntarenas, Montezuma and Jaco

Dominical is in the Puntarenas province of Costa Rica, and you have two scenic options to get here:
1) Through the mountains or along the coast. Drive south from the San Jose area using the San Isidro de General highway, which takes you over the Talamanca Mountains.
2) Take in the views as you travel the coastal highway from Quepos to the north.
